bought this ice cream maker early this week. have no time to play with it yet but will try it soon. all i need is sugar, egg, milk & cream.

how hard can baking be?
yes, that's what i asked myself too. to be doubly sure that i will not fail in my attempts, i bought a ready mix cupcake mixture. just follow the step by step guide reiligiously and surely all will be fantastic.. hmmm... freshly baked cupcake awaits me. see picture below for end results -
countless things went wrong -
instructions said to whisk it, but i stirred it,
instructions said to heat it to X temperature, but i heated it more,
instructions said to fill up to 2/3 cup, but i filled it 9/10 cup
i think i do not like to follow the rules...

owl creation
this owl's done by dina. she made it out of the fabric of an old swimming suit. that's innovative use of fabric!
my rubbish tray
used this tray to throw the leftover scraps from my projects. the same technique used for making this tray will be used to make my next project - chair cushion.

that's how much i need to earn this week so that i can buy this - bernina sewing machine. have been eyeing it for a very long tme. i have used an older version when i was learning sewing at the shop. the stitches are firm and strong with many other different functions. my current brother sewing machine's a very basic one with less firm stitches.
need to punt the market soon.

mini sewing machine
auctioned for this on ebay. thought it was a bargain buy, but i was wrong. went taka and saw many sets of these at the toy deparment. duh. i paid triple the price. duh duh.
japanese paper boxes
spotted these at daiso going for $2 each only. used to buy them during my younger days for more than triple the prices. snapped up the remaining 2 boxes. if only there were more to buy.
nano chups
was at 7-11 paying for petro when these spotted my eyes. buy 6 lollipops and get a nano chup free! bought the pink one first and went back for more at night. simply irresitable.
work in progress - seat cushion
made alot of these over the weekend but could not complete it. its made to measure for tyre's wooden chair. will start work on it as soon as i get the measurements.
flower pin cushion
got this tutorial off one of the bloggers website. its easy and satisfying to make one of these. i like it!
pillow 12345
bought the numbered fabric from taiwan. thought long and hard about what to do with it. finally, made a pillow case out of it.
'goldilocks and the three bears' bag
love the chirpy colors of this bag. mummy didnt like the colors though - she said its too loud. 
apple-licious bag
made matching bag and coin pouch using the apple fabric which i got from spotlight. love the prints. did a pillow case with the same fabric for kay to bring to her greece trip so that its 'bye bye smelly head pillow' experience for her.
small pouch
got this japanese fabric online. it supposedly has a 'story' where the the bear catches fire, jumps into the river and got saved by rabbit. or so i imagined. 
coaster
tyre's always looking for something to put the icy cup on so that it doesnt wet the table. finally got around to making a coaster for that.
pouch for pretties
had enough of throwing/finding my makeup stuffs in my bag so made a pouch to keep these stuff.
my sewing corner
set up a sewing corner in my room where i do my crafts. my current sewing machine is a basic one and i aim to get a 'bernina' one when my workmanship improves.
presents from korea
tyre went searching in korea from fabrics and got me these! thinking of how to use them for my crafts.
