crafty dad

maybe that's where my crafty habits come from... dad's crafty too! i 'caught' him doing this last night, found it amusing so took a picture of his little craft project.

just a little background - he's got a new place and he's excited about designing it, so we went to ikea yesterday to shortlist the furnitures that he likes and took some measurements of it. Later that night, he drew a 'blueprint' of his new place (drawn to scale) first, then lovingly drew (to scale again) the different pieces of shortlisted furnitures, lastly, he place them on the layout as movable pieces to determine the position to place.

yeah, he could have done all these on some computer software, but he uses the old school method and he enjoys it - spent a few hours on it. now, all he has to do is just execute his plan!
